Director
Ted Greenfield, M.Ed., is the founder and director, of Invisible Angels, an FAA Part 135 air carrier providing trauma‑informed, rapid‑response air transport for survivors of human trafficking. He leads the organization with a blend of aviation expertise, regulatory experience, and survivor‑centered trauma informed mission focus.
Ted spent 10 years as a special education teacher, shaping his commitment to trauma‑aware communication and compassionate service. He later spent more than 10 years in the tech entrepreneurial space, directing digital strategy, instructional design, and media innovation across federal, nonprofit, and commercial sectors. Before Ted entered federal service in 2006, his background also included work as a freelance television producer and the development of award‑winning multimedia and global eLearning platforms.
Ted completed his federal service in 2025, retiring from the Federal Aviation Administration as a Manager of Safety Promotion and as a Communications & Safety Programs Specialist, advancing national safety initiatives and strengthening safety culture across diverse aviation operations. A commercially rated pilot with instrument and seaplane ratings, Ted brings operational precision and mission discipline to every rescue flight.
Niko Posada
Director - Aviation
Nicholas Posada is the founder of POSAV, an aviation‑training and maintenance organization known for its disciplined, safety‑first approach to pilot development and aircraft care. As both a flight instructor and aircraft maintenance operator, he brings dual expertise in advanced pilot training, operational flying, and hands‑on technical oversight of general aviation aircraft.
He leads POSAV’s maintenance division with a focus on airworthiness, precision, and operational reliability, giving him a comprehensive understanding of aircraft systems and real‑world risk. His ability to merge instructional clarity with mechanical insight has made POSAV a respected hub for developing capable, confident pilots.
Nicholas’s leadership is grounded in his Christian faith, shaped by his belief in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and expressed through integrity, service, and accountability in his work.
His combined training, maintenance, and faith‑driven leadership made him a natural fit for the Board of Directors of Invisible Angels, where he supports pilot readiness, safety culture, and mission‑specific aircraft operations for aviation‑based rescue missions.
Hil O'Herlihy
Director - Legal Affairs
Hil O’Herlihy is an acting Captain with the Annapolis Police Department, bringing more than 18 years of frontline and supervisory law enforcement experience to his role. Before entering policing, he spent 15 years as a practicing attorney specializing in real estate law, giving him a rare dual foundation in legal analysis, operational leadership, and complex decision‑making.
He holds a J.D., Cum Laude, from Widener University School of Law and a B.A. in Criminal Justice with a Sociology minor from the University of Delaware. Hil’s leadership is grounded in integrity, service, and accountability in both his legal and law‑enforcement work.
Hil’s combined legal expertise, command experience, and faith‑driven leadership made him a natural fit for the Board of Directors of Invisible Angels, where he provides governance insight, compliance awareness, and strategic guidance for the organization’s aviation‑based rescue mission.
Maria Nehring
Finance
Maria Nehring is a financial operations leader with more than a decade of experience in accounts payable, vendor management, and municipal finance. She currently serves as the Accounts Payable Supervisor for the City of Clearwater, overseeing vendor records, 1099 compliance, Positive Pay controls, travel‑expense approvals, and a three‑person AP team responsible for high‑accuracy, high‑volume financial processing.
Her prior roles with Oasis Corporate Housing and MRCI WorkSource strengthened her expertise in complex billing, multi‑department coordination, and system transitions, where she consistently improved efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls. Across her career, Maria has built a reputation for disciplined workflow management, operational clarity, and dependable financial stewardship.
Maria brings a trauma‑informed care mindset, shaped by years of work within community‑impact organizations — including her service at Radiant Church. Maria supports ministries centered on compassion, stability, and practical care. Her approach emphasizes patience, dignity, and clear communication, ensuring financial processes support individuals who may be navigating stress, instability, or crisis.
